Child Advocates San Antonio

What does a Court Appointed Special Advocate really do?

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers are people like you with big hearts who come from all walks of life. With CASA provided specialized training and a passion for helping children, they work to represent the best interests of kids experiencing foster care.

Your donation helps advocates:

Build Relationships: Meet with the child regularly to understand their needs and concerns.

Gather Information: Interview parents, caregivers, teachers, and others involved in the child’s life.

Monitor Well-Being: Ensure the child’s living situation is safe and their emotional, educational, and health needs are met.

Advocate in Court: Provide fact-based recommendations to judges about the child’s best interests.

Collaborate: Work with social workers, attorneys, and others to ensure services are in place.

Support Permanency: Help find a safe, permanent home through reunification, relative placement, or adoption.

Benefit from Expert Advice: CASA Staff provide expert guidance every step of the way.

Whether you can volunteer to become a CASA Advocate or not, everyone can be a light of hope. Please make your gift today, and together we can change a child’s life.
