You will be responsible for providing IT support for the organization, including installing and configuring computer hardware and problem-solving issues related to IT systems and software. In this role, you will also provide excellent customer support by resolving employee issues with systems, passwords, software, and hardware and you will be responsible for the inventory, distribution, and retention of computers and hardware.

Intent of Position
- Provide excellent customer service and IT support to internal and external customers and keep CASA’s information and communications secure from internal and external threats.
- Act as a liaison between the IT service provider and agency departments; ensure effective communication and address any technology-related needs for the agency.
- Coordinate, provide, and assist with IT training for software (particularly Microsoft 365), hardware, and systems as needed to facilitate the security and protection of communications and information.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to facilitate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to IT systems.
- Coordinate, monitor, and assist with IT helpdesk tickets; ensure timely and effective resolution of all requests.
- Track IT assets, including hardware and software inventory, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.

- Help manage and meet timelines and budgets for IT projects and tasks.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, software, and peripheral devices.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on company systems and applications.
- Assist in managing user accounts and access rights, including new user onboarding and account deactivations.
- Provide front-line support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Assist in documenting and communicating project progress, deliverables, and post-project evaluations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, procedures, and support records for internal knowledge-sharing and compliance purposes.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, data privacy regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Participates in a minimum of 12 hours of ongoing education per year.

Quality Assurance:
- Contribute to quality assurance by creating and maintaining inventory lists of all IT-related hardware and role-based access control lists for all employees, subject to internal and external audit.
- Ensure compliance with National and Texas CASA, and applicable grant requirements.
- Establish, improve, and refine as necessary, CASA internal control procedures, including compliance with established procedures and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role.
- Experience with hardware, software, network administration, information security, and system maintenance.
- Experience with the implementation and oversight of Microsoft 365 is essential.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.
- Familiarity with user account management and IT helpdesk software.
- Basic knowledge of IT asset management and compliance with licensing agreements.
- Understanding of project management principles and experience supporting IT projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and liaise between departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Active A+, Network +, Security +, and/or CCNA Certification
- Experience training employees or customers to use IT hardware and software.
Physical requirements:
- Able to sit and work at a computer for up to eight hours at a time.
- Able to engage in intermittent physical activities, including bending over, reaching, sitting, and walking during working hours.
- Able to stand for up to four hours at a time.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds, or team lift up to 50 pounds, as needed.
- This role is not eligible for remote work.
