The mission of Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) is to recruit, train, and supervise court-appointed volunteers who provide constancy for abused and neglected children while advocating for services and placement in safe and permanent homes.

Last year, 269 CASA volunteers served 1,110 abused and neglected children.

We know that our volunteers truly make a difference in the lives of the children we serve.

Ninety-nine percent of the time the children we serve had one volunteer advocate stick with them, providing advocacy and support throughout the duration of their cases. Ninety-nine percent of the time the judge agrees with the recommendation for final placement that a CASA volunteer makes.

Almost all of the children we serve are impacted specifically because of the work the CASA volunteer does on their behalf.
